Round 3 of the Roots Cast kicks off with our good friend Santiago ‘El Rojo’ Jaramillo. The Mexican & Colombian native now resides in Brooklyn, New York after attending IAR (Institute of Audio Research) in 2005 and receiving his degree in Audio Engineering. Falling in love with the recording process after working at Sonido Azulado Recording Studio in Bogota he began to take the music into his own hands engulfing himself in both DJing and production. In 2009, he along with Daniel Fuentes, founded MNMLKTCHN, a Brooklyn based collective hosting underground electronic events in New York City. With years spent under the spell of electronic music, continuously digging deeper and deeper, El Rojo puts together an hour of selections taking you on a truly musical journey.
